Backpacking Stoves?
I'm looking for a camp backpacking stove, and i'm not sure which one is the best choice. I found a brand called Jetboil. Do you know anything about it or have any other suggestions?

Good backpacking stove international travel?
I'll be in a few countries, some developing. I am looking at the MSR dragonfly and the Markill Peak Ignition by Vaude, and a few others. I don't know if wood will be readily available everywhere I go, or if I'll be allowed to burn wood in other places, so I ruled out a wood burning stove. I will be in moderate temperature most of the time, though it should get pretty cold I'd say down to 32 F. If its colder than that, I'm off to town. my altitude will be peaking at about 10,000 and obviously I'd like it to work at sea level, too. I am trying to be as ultralight as possible, and I don't need a bulky stove taking up a lot of space in my pack. Is there anything out there for me?

What kind of backpacking stove is a good stove?

Which backpacking stove is better?
I am currently comparing the Jetboil Group with the MSR Dragonfly. I like the idea of the Jetboil because you don't need to carry a cookset, but the spec sheet says it takes up to 7 minutes to boil a liter. I don't really like the shape of the personal jetboil it seems too small. Also, if I go with the MSR and need to buy a cookset, what brand is recommended? Needs to be light but not too expensive.

What is the best backpacking stove option?
I am looking for a method to cook when backpacking. I need something light and that I can use to cook for 2 people for 10 days. Also, the fuel will sit in a 100 degree Fahrenheit car for a several weeks before using, so I'm a little concerned about safety when storing under such conditions. Finally, I expect everything around me to be completely soaked, so I don't want to rely on being able to use wood from the surroundings. Please let me know your suggestions.

Can someone recommend a good naphtha backpacking stove?
I think I'd like to purchase a folding base w separate fuel bottle, like an MSR Whisperlite or Dragonfly. I'm not an ounce counter or speed freak, but would like a good compromise between size weight stability price the base ought to have no problem fitting in a pot set without sacrificing reliability. Conversely, is there any reason I should purchase a canister stove instead? Thanks

Is there ANY advantage to an alcohol or sterno backpacking stove?
Most backpackers I know use a white gas stove. Is there any possible reason you would use an alcohol or sterno stove?Oh, really. I own a high priced alcohol stove, and it is made in Sweden. I guess that explains why Swedes would be so keen on an alcohol stove.
